Science Data Bank (ScienceDB) is a public, general-purpose data repository aiming to provide data services (e.g. data acquisition, long-term preservation, publishing, sharing and access) for researchers, research projects/teams, journals, institutions, universities, etc. Supporting a variety of data acquisition and licencing. ScienceDB is dedicated to promoting data findable, citable and reusable on the prerequisite of protecting the rights and interests of data owners and it is built and operated by Chinese Academy of Sciences Computing and Network Information Center.

Data Management Data manageability ScienceDB provides data management services ranging from quality control, access control, version management, among others.
Data Policy ScienceDB devote to become a repository of long-term data sharing and data publishing in China. The repository ensures the long-term management, persistent accessible to the data published. ScienceDB providing data publishing and accessing services to the international science community, academic journals, publishers, and other stakeholders. Its mission is to foster published scientific data compliance with agreed data standards and conventions, to promote the findability, accessibility, interoperability and reusability of scientific data, and cultivate data sharing culture in China science community.
Data Sharing Principle Open and sharing data While respecting authors’ intellectual property, ScienceDB advocates and supports data open and sharing under Creative Commons license CC0. Data accessibility ScienceDB provides online access to the metadata and data files of any published dataset. Permanent accessibility ScienceDB guarantees that all uploaded data and published resources are permanently accessible.
