Updated description of 数字极地报告_第四期 to
报告内容: 全球气候和海洋变化对南极、格陵兰岛的冰川造成严重影响,已经导致极地冰川大范围的快速消融。 2003- 2019,极地冰川的消融已经导致全球海平面升高约14 mm,因此对极地冰川进行立体监测是必要且紧急的。与此同时,这些快速消融的冰川大部分集中在格陵兰岛、南极冰盖的沿岸区域并与海洋直接接触,近岸海水的变化如何影响冰川的演化、稳定仍是学界研究的热门问题。本报告将通过南极Mertz冰舌研究展示遥感在极地典型冰川立体变化监测中的应用;通过格陵兰岛Helheim、Jakobshavn冰川等研究展示地基雷达遥感等在冰川-海洋交互作用研究中的作用;通过南极Drygalski冰舌研究等展示相敏探地雷达、海洋潜标以及模型等在冰川底部融化探测、海洋对冰川底部融化影响等研究中的应用。冰川变化与冰川-海洋交互作用的开展需要多学科研究等综合支持,而现场冰川探测、海洋观测则是连接冰川、海洋研究的桥梁。 报告人简介: 王显威,博士,上海交通大学海洋学院长聘教轨副教授,博士生导师,数字极地专业委员会委员。他的主要研究兴趣为遥感在地球科学研究中的应用,侧重全球变化背景下的极地冰川变化与冰川-海洋交互作用。他主要采用光学遥感、雷达遥感和高度计数据探测南极和格陵兰岛冰川的三维立体变化,并且结合冰川实地测量数据、海洋观测数据以及模型等进行冰川-海洋交互作用研究。他具有丰富的极地科学考察经验,在南极和格陵兰岛分别进行过四次与冰川变化、冰川-海洋协同调查相关的考察;他在Remote Sensing of Environment以及Cryosphere等期刊发表文章24篇。
